James Merrill guilty of breaking into the dwelling house of Thomas Jones in the parish of Lower Areley on 15th November 1787: stealing therefrom a great coat (valued at 40/-), 2 cloth coats (valued at 60/-), 4 waistcoats (valued at 40/-), 2 pairs of shoes (valued at 8/-), a pair of worsted stockings (valued at 4/-) a linen shirt (valued at 5/-), 3 muslin neckerchiefs (valued at 3/-), 3 muslin stocks (valued at 5/-) and a silver stock buckle (valued at 2/-).
